River Valley waltzed into their game on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Highland Prep Honey Badgers get on the board and left with an 18-0 win. The Dust Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by ten runs or more this season.

Kennadee Brown was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Navarro, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

River Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .633 or higher in three consecutive contests.

River Valley's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Highland Prep, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River Valley will host Tonopah Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland Prep, they will welcome Odyssey Institute at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Honey Badgers are facing the Minotaur at the right time seeing as the Minotaur are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
