Greenville pushed their score all the way to 62 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 72-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ionia.
Meanwhile, Tri County Area came up short against Big Rapids on Friday and fell 64-54. That's two games in a row now that Tri County Area has lost by exactly ten points.
The losing side was boosted by Brennan Grabinski, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Trenton McNees, who scored 12 points.
Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Tri County Area, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Everything went Greenville's way against Tri County Area in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as Greenville made off with a 74-49 win. Will Greenville repeat their success, or does Tri County Area have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
