Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Middleburgh). They really took it to the Galway Golden Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-42 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Knights have posted against the Golden Eagles since November 30, 2015.

Middleburgh's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2. As for Galway, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Middleburgh will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Berne-Knox-Westerlo at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. Berne-Knox-Westerlo knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Middleburgh likes a good challenge. As for Galway, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Plain at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
