After losing to the Haywood Christian Academy Red Wolves the last time they met, The Master's Academy Lions decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Master's Academy walked away with a 41-31 win over Haywood Christian Academy on Friday.
Aiden Holiday was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sawyer Waugh, who scored 5 points along with 8 rebounds.
The victory got The Master's Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Haywood Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
The Master's Academy will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Pinnacle Classical Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 4th. Hopefully Pinnacle Classical Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Friday. As for Haywood Christian Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Nebo Crossing Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. Nebo Crossing Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Haywood Christian Academy in North Carolina (Nebo Crossing Academy is ranked 40th, while Haywood Christian Academy is ranked 365th).
