The Northbrook Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their 11th straight loss. They were dealt a 59-25 loss at the hands of Spring Woods. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northbrook in their matchups with Spring Woods: they've now lost six in a row.
Noelle Berry had a dynamite game for Spring Woods, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Berry scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Jasmine Liggins, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Something new happened on Wednesday as Makayla Sadler saw her first action of the season, playing 16 minutes against Northbrook. Sadler made the most of the opportunity, scoring four points along with seven rebounds. A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.
Northbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Spring Woods, their victory bumped their record up to 9-19.
Northbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Spring Woods also has no future games currently scheduled.
