In what's become a running theme this season, the Hamilton Aggies gave their fans yet another huge victory on Sunday. They claimed a resounding 76-29 victory over Hackleburg at home. Winning may never get old, but Hamilton sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
Hamilton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aubrey Sorrells, who scored 18 points along with five steals. Sorrells has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last 12 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emily Jones, who scored 15 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Hackleburg saw an underclassman step up: Jordin Ware dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds. Ware is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 12 or more in the last three games she's played.
Hamilton is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Hackleburg, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-8.
