Hayward has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against Arroyo at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Even though Hayward has not done well against Castro Valley recently (they were 0-7-1 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Hayward didn't even let Castro Valley onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The result kept Hayward happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 5th.
Rudy Cruz was the driving force of Hayward's attack as he scored both of Hayward's goals With that big game, he's now up to two scores this season.
Meanwhile, neither Arroyo nor Tennyson could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
Hayward's win bumped their record up to 9-3-2. As for Arroyo, they bumped their record down to 4-5-2 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
