Volleyball Recap: Advance's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Advance had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Central Rebels by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Olivia Kennedy paced Advance's offense, picking up eight kills. Kennedy got some help from Mallory Mayberry and her 13 assists. Emma Eilers controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Advance's victory bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.

Advance has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Bloomfield on the 14th. As for Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Potosi on the 14th.
