Big North - Freedom recap November 5, 2013
Ridgewood extended the longest winning streak in Big North - Freedom this week by beating Clifton, 48-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Maroons.
Passaic lost to Hackensack 60-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Ridgewood's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jamal Locke threw for 59 yards and Doug Barnes had 39 yards receiving. On the ground Cooper Telesco contributed 88 yards. Tim Bonanno helped Ridgewood's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 13 yards.
Charles W. Johnson III's team's dynamic duo of Locke and Barnes proved to be unstoppable against the Mustangs, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bonanno helped Ridgewood's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 13 yards.
The Comets led the league in scoring this week after putting up 60 points on the Indians.
