If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Pascack Valley. They will take on Ridgefield Park at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
After a dominant victory in their contest two weeks ago, Pascack Valley were humbled last Friday. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-38 punch to the gut against NV - Old Tappan. Pascack Valley's loss came about despite a quality game from junior Jake Williams, who picked up 148 yards on the ground.
Meanwhile, we expected Ridgefield Park to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Paramus, and they did. Ridgefield Park suffered a grim 13-40 defeat to Paramus. Ridgefield Park were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-34.
