The Woodland Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell 59-46 to Mira Loma. Woodland has not had much luck with Mira Loma recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Woodland had strong showings from Joseph Qeuzada, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds, and Lincoln Twilley, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 23 rebounds. Twilley scored a full 37% of Woodland's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Dylan Ramirez was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds.
Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Mira Loma, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Rio Linda the next time they take the court. Mira Loma will head out to face Rio Linda at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Woodland will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
