The Chattahoochee Cougars have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were beaten by Northview 45-8 on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Chattahoochee has scored all season.
Riley Berninger was Chattahoochee's leading scorer, having posted six points. Berninger held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
Northview's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tamariana Bivins, who scored eight points along with seven steals. Bivins hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Milan Johnson, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Chattahoochee dropped their record down to 14-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.8 points per game. As for Northview, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-5.
