The DuSable Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season. They breezed by Victoria Soto on the road to the tune of 59-11. Winning may never get old, but DuSable sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Ave'Veyon Watkins was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for he. Another player making a difference was Kentrell Shepard, who scored ten points.
DuSable now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Victoria Soto, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
DuSable will be home for the holidays to greet Excel Academy of South Shore at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Victoria Soto, they will head out on the road to face off against Tilden at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
