The Enterprise Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by McLaurin 65-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Enterprise has suffered since December 8, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead McLaurin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Michael Wallace, who scored 19 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Wallace hasn't dropped below 15 points for 12 straight games. Another player making a difference was K.J. Canon, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Enterprise has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for McLaurin, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.
Enterprise will be playing in front of their home fans against Noxubee County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for McLaurin, they will head out on the road to take on Kemper County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Kemper County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
