Prairie Heights is 1-8 against Concord since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Prairie Heights Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Concord Minutemen at 7:30 p.m. Prairie Heights is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
Last Saturday, Prairie Heights lost to Fremont at home by a decisive 51-35 margin. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Prairie Heights in their matchups with Fremont: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Concord's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were beaten by Warsaw 61-26. While losing is never fun, Concord can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while Warsaw is ranked 33rd).
Prairie Heights has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Concord, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.
Prairie Heights ended up a good deal behind Concord in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, losing 53-35. Thankfully for Prairie Heights, Kendal Taylor (who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four blocks) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
