Lawrence County's game on Tuesday was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 43-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hatton. Lawrence County has struggled against Hatton recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kylie Graham, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Jaala Hawkins was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
Meanwhile, Decatur pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Austin 62-58.
Lawrence County has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Decatur, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
