A Season-Best Effort from Luke Deperno Leads West Ranch over Saugus
West Ranch was led to victory by Luke Deperno, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Deperno rushed for 282 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also picked up 36 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards.
Deperno might have his next game, a home matchup with Castaic, circled on his calendar. Deperno rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry the last time he and the Coyotes duked it out back in October of 2023.

Zach Rogozik produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hart to the win on Friday. Rogozik rushed for 232 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
The victory was the sixth in a row for Hart, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Rogozik and Hart will square off against Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Bonner Came Up Big in Valencia's 55-7 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Brian Bonner stepped things up a notch to give Valencia the 'W'. Bonner was dynamite, rushing for 149 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also picking up 33 receiving yards.
On the year, Bonner has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 48.7 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he was only averaging 29.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 127.67 rushing yards.

Brady Bretthauer Makes It Two for Valencia
