David Crockett got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kayleigh Doner out in front who scored 13 points along with 4 steals. Brylee Tullock was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
When it comes to explaining why Tennessee lost, one person who can't be blamed is Keeyanah Foote. Despite the final result, she scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds. Foote scored a full 25.5% of Tennessee's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. David Crockett's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Tennessee, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
