The Herron Achaeans suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a tough 50-30 loss at the hands of Indianapolis Crispus Attucks. Herron has struggled against Indianapolis Crispus Attucks recently, as their match on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Herron still got an impressive performance from Jada Wright, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wright has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Maya Alexis, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and six steals.
Herron dropped their record down to 16-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.3 points per game. As for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
Herron on the road again on Tuesday and play against Heritage Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. As for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, they will face off against Lawrence Central at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lawrence Central is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
