Marist is a perfect 5-0 against Carmel since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The RedHawks will host the Corsairs at 5:00 p.m. Marist will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Marist is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: Brother Rice, who was ranked tenth at the time (Marist was ranked first). The RedHawks walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Crusaders on Monday.

While Marist won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Carmel came up short against Niles Notre Dame on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Corsairs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17.

Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 7-26. As for Marist, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 32-2.

Marist beat Carmel 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Do the RedHawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Corsairs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
