Drew Thornsley Puts an End to Circleville's Losing Streak on Friday
Thanks in part to Drew Thornsley, Circleville said goodbye to their five-game losing streak. Owen Ruff's big game helped extend Fairfield Union's winning streak to three on Friday. Ruff was dynamite, rushing for 59 yards and three touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played.
Amanda-Clearcreek's probably not too fond of Ruff given he always seems to get the better of them. Ruff rushed for 184 yards and four touchdowns the last time he and the Aces duked it out back in October of 2023.

Jack Kline produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Circleville to the win on Friday. Kline picked up 171 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Circleville: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.
On the season, Kline has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 69.9 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 40 receiving yards per game.
