Thomson extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Jada Kendrick. The Thomson Bulldogs walked away with a 61-49 win over the Josey Eagles on Friday thanks in part to Kendrick, who went 5 of 12 en route to 21 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.
Janiya Scott was another key player, going 7 for 12 on her way to 18 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.
Josey's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Shaniya Sanders, who shot 6-for-9 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 boards, and Kerri Fluellen, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Keasia Henderson, who posted five points and eight assists.
Thomson pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42.5 points. As for Josey, their defeat ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-3.
