Meanwhile, after a string of ten wins, Malden's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were outmatched by New Madrid County Central at home and fell 94-57. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Malden in their matchups with New Madrid County Central: they've now lost six in a row.
Kennett dropped their record down to 4-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Malden, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-3.
