The Watertown Goslings will head out to take on the Waukesha West Wolverines at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Watertown's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Waukesha West's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Cameron Kranz made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
In other pitching news, Ashton Johnson tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Davis Cashin, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Calvin Hurtgen, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.
Meanwhile, Waukesha West came up short against Kettle Moraine on Friday and fell 4-1. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Nate Szuta was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.
At the plate, Waukesha West saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Brown, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
The victory made it two in a row for Watertown and bumps their season record up to 15-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Waukesha West, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.
