Andrew Jackson Academy's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They skirted past the Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels 14-13. The Warriors' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Kaiden Kinard was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Hayden McClung, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 4-for-6.

Kinard wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Andrew Jackson Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. Andrew Jackson Academy is a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Andrew Jackson Academy's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-3. As for Thomas Heyward Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
