Baseball Recap: Cordova Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Cordova came into Tuesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by an 11-5 margin over the Fultondale Wildcats on Tuesday. This was payback for the Blue Devils, who suffered a 5-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Cordova got a big performance out of Daniel Jackson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. What's more, Jackson posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Chesley Harbison, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Cordova's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Fultondale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

Cordova will have a chance to go back-to-back against Fultondale: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
