They managed a 60-54 victory over BASIS - Scottsdale. This was payback for East Valley Athletes for Christ, who suffered a 57-46 defeat the last time these two teams met.
BASIS - Scottsdale's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nithish Prakash, who scored 18 points. Rishi Dubba was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
