Everything went Roosevelt's way against PACT Charter on Friday as Roosevelt made off with a 74-54 win. Roosevelt might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three games by 20 points or more this season.
Roosevelt's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Steven Hunter, who scored 21 points along with six assists. That's the first time this season that Hunter scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Calvin Peterson, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds.
Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for PACT Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.
Roosevelt and Minneapolis South will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Minneapolis South has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 577 points over their last seven games.
