The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Triad Math and Science Academy in their matchups with Carver: they've now lost four in a row.
Carver got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaqarius Houston out in front who scored 13 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Gakeri, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Triad Math and Science Academy's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Carver, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
