After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wakefield Memorial, Winchester was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Watertown Raiders get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Red & Black, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.
The result came thanks to Anshu Patra's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks. Those six strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
