Leading McClintock to victory were Kyler Frye and Josh McManaway . Frye scored 22 points, while McManaway scored 16 points along with 5 steals. The match was Frye's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Walsh, who scored 3 points along with 7 assists and 4 steals.
Despite the loss, Tempe still got an impressive performance from Nassir Cobbs , who scored 9 points. Jeremiah Thurman was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
