Central had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Shaw Raiders. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won three in a row.

Central not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Shaw between 15 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-15.

Shaw's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Central will challenge Northside at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Shaw, they will head out to take on Calvary Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
