Baldwyn had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Wheeler Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-3 last Tuesday.

Baldwyn's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Wheeler, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baldwyn will head out to face off against Ingomar at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Ingomar will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Baldwyn surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wheeler, they will venture away from home to challenge Greenfield at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Greenfield's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Wheeler's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
