There's no place like home for Washington, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Glendale Cardinals on Tuesday. The match marked the Rams' most dominant win of the season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-10.

Miguel Gutierrez Alvarez paced Washington's offense, picking up five kills. Gutierrez Alvarez got some help from Muzzammil San and his eight assists. San also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Ben Marquez, racking up three apiece.

Washington's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8. As for Glendale, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.
