Bishop Gorman added to the longest winning streak in I Sunset - Southwest this week by beating Palo Verde, 45-7. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Bishop Gorman took down the Panthers 45-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Randall Cunnigham Jr. threw for 109 yards and ran for 128 yards in the win.
Tony Sanchez's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Cunnigham Jr. contributed 128 yards. Alec Lozarou helped Bishop Gorman's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 21 yards.
Cunnigham Jr. was the most successful running back in the league this week. Daniel Stewart also contributed to the rushing game with 104 yards on the ground.
The Gaels' Cunnigham Jr. and Alize Jones have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-5 quarterback Cunnigham Jr. has thrown for 1,662 yards this season, while Jones has 34 catches for 563 yards. Michael Barnson from Cimarron-Memorial leads the league in rushing with 1,400 yards.
Lantz Worthington has rushed for 994 yards on 129 carries so far this year.
