The Meridian Mustangs lost against the Hampton Hawks back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Meridian was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 40-39 to Hampton. Meridian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Dose, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meridian will be home for the holidays to greet Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hampton, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Lawrence-Nelson at 7:30 p.m. on December 21st. Lawrence-Nelson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hampton in Nebraska (Lawrence-Nelson is ranked 99th, while Hampton is ranked 231st).
