Sand Creek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Brotherns, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 14 points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, Severance entered their tilt with Greeley Central on Saturday with 12 consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 13. They walked away with a 59-47 victory over the Wildcats. The Silver Knights pushed the score to 49-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats cut but never quite recovered from.
Severance's win came from a few key players Sand Creek will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Damarii Wright, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Jordan Rodriguez was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.
Severance's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points over those games. As for Sand Creek, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-6.
