After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Verden, Christian Heritage was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Southwest Covenant Patriots. Considering the Crusaders have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Christian Heritage's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Southwest Covenant, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Christian Heritage will host Stroud at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwest Covenant, they will take on Geary at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
