Cornell is 2-8 against Prairie Farm since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Cornell Chiefs will head out on the road to face off against the Prairie Farm Panthers at 7:15 p.m. Cornell comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Tuesday, Cornell took a serious blow against Winter, falling 94-34. Cornell has struggled against Winter recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Prairie Farm's 18-8 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. The game between Prairie Farm and Bruce wasn't particularly close, with Prairie Farm falling 76-61. While losing is never fun, Prairie Farm can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 458th, while Bruce is ranked 145th).
Cornell's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Prairie Farm, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Cornell came up short against Prairie Farm in their previous meeting back in February, falling 72-65. Can Cornell avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
