Emily Cash made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Tatum Kruetz, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Even though they lost, Ursuline Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. This was only their first loss (out of five games) when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Ursuline Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Bishop Lynch, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Friday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bishop Lynch hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .332. However, it's not like Ursuline Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .444. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Bishop Lynch couldn't quite get it done against Ursuline Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 13-10. Can Bishop Lynch avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
