First Coast lost to Ridgeview back in March of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The First Coast Buccaneers came out on top against the Ridgeview Panthers by a score of 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buccaneers.

The result came thanks to Hayden Carns's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, First Coast saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Journey Sutton, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

First Coast's record now sits at 7-4. As for Ridgeview, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

The future could be bright for both First Coast and Ridgeview: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. First Coast will try to hand Baldwin their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 4:00 p.m. on March 20th. Similarly, Ridgeview will look to extend Knoxville Catholic's four-game losing streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
