Mason Classical Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Naples Classical, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mason Classical Academy Paladins put the hurt on the Naples Classical Academy with a sharp 19-6 victory on Thursday. The Paladins' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Hudson Winegar, who scored five runs and stole Three bases. while going 4-for-4. Mason Lichter was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 2-for-4.

Mason Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Naples Classical, their record is now 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mason Classical Academy will take on Babcock at 4:00 p.m. on March 27th. As for Naples Classical, they will square off against Donahue Catholic at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Naples Classical has given up an average of 15.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
