The Easton Warriors couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. Their tough 56-33 defeat to Parkside on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. Easton has not had much luck with Parkside recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Parkside's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zion Oge, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 21 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ziyon SMITH, who scored 15 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Easton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Parkside, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Easton will face off against Kent Island at TBD on Thursday. As for Parkside, they will be playing at home against Pocomoke at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
