Hudson is 4-0 against Harding since November of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Hudson Explorers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Harding Raiders at 7:00 p.m. The last three games Hudson has played have been within five points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Hudson ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 20-19 photo finish over Benedictine. Given Hudson's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Benedictine is ranked 214th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hudson had a senior duo take command as Teagan O'Guinn rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry and Peyton Neher rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Harding got themselves on the board against St. Vincent-St. Mary on Friday, but St. Vincent-St. Mary never followed suit. They blew past the Fighting Irish 35-0 on the road.
Hudson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Harding, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
Hudson strolled past Harding when the teams last played back in September of 2022 by a score of 21-7. Will Hudson repeat their success, or does Harding have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
