 Like Beaver, Neshannock also got a great game from a two-way player:  Jake Rynd. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up   no  earned run off   two  hits. Rynd was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Giovanni Valentine was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with four  RBI and a  stolen base.
 Beaver's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Neshannock, the  win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beaver will  challenge Ambridge at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Neshannock, they will head out on the road to  take on  Slippery Rock at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Slippery Rock is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.9  runs per game  this season.
