It was a proper cat-fight when Deep Run took on J.R. Tucker on Tuesday. The Wildcats' defense stepped up to hand the Tigers an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Deep Run, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Deep Run, bringing their record up to 9-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for J.R. Tucker, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6.
