The Forsyth Country Day Furies will head out on the road to face off against the Calvary Day School Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Forsyth Country Day's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Even though Caldwell Academy scored an imposing 75 points on Friday, Forsyth Country Day still came out on top. Forsyth Country Day secured a 79-75 W over Caldwell Academy.
Meanwhile, Calvary Day School's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 56-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Asheville School (Independent). The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Calvary Day School came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while Asheville School (Independent) is ranked 357th).
Forsyth Country Day's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.4 points per game. As for Calvary Day School, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.
Forsyth Country Day couldn't quite finish off Calvary Day School in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 and fell 53-51. Thankfully for Forsyth Country Day, Isaiah Ramazani (who scored 17 points along with five assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
