Make it seven blowout wins for the Addenbrooke Classical Academy Mustangs this season. They claimed a resounding 57-18 victory over Front Range Baptist at home. The win was familiar territory for Addenbrooke Classical Academy who now have four in a row.
Addenbrooke Classical Academy found their leader in underclassman Lucia Rodriguez, who scored 20 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rodriguez has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Peyton Trujillo, who scored ten points along with six steals.
Addenbrooke Classical Academy pushed their record up to 8-4 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.33 points. As for Front Range Baptist, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Addenbrooke Classical Academy will challenge Aurora West College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Aurora West College Prep Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last 14 games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Front Range Baptist on the road again on Friday and play against Denver Waldorf at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th.
