Halifax Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-16.
When it comes to explaining why Halifax Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Oliver Anderson. Despite the final result, he scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Faith Christian found their leader in underclassman Bennie Griffin, who scored 22 points. Michael Grant was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Halifax Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Faith Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
Halifax Academy will be playing at home against Harrells Christian Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Faith Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Kerr-Vance Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Kerr-Vance Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
