The Keswick Christian Crusaders can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Berkeley Prep 51-17 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Keswick Christian sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Ava Graham was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Keswick Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Robyn Cantwell, who scored 16 points.
Despite the defeat, Berkeley Prep had strong showings from Lila grace Strain, who scored 12 points, and Maddie Dean, who scored two points along with 11 rebounds. Dean has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times she's played.
Keswick Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Berkeley Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Keswick Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Palmetto at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Palmetto will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while Keswick Christian is ranked 69th). As for Berkeley Prep, they will be playing at home against Wiregrass Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
